As Turunç Resort Hotel and Turunç Premium Hotel, affiliates of AY-TUR TURİZM SAN VE TİC. A.Ş., we attach the utmost importance to ensuring the security of your personal data.
In this context, pursuant to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“PDP Law”) and the relevant legislation, within the scope of our hospitality and tourism activities, we take the necessary measures to provide an appropriate level of security in order to prevent the unlawful processing of and access to your personal data and to ensure their safekeeping during the processing and transfer to third parties. With full awareness of this responsibility, in our capacity as Data Controller, we process your personal data as explained below and within the limits prescribed by the legislation.
This privacy notice issued by our Company was last updated on 27/05/2020. In the event the notice is renewed in whole or in part, its effective date and version will be updated. The notice is published on our Company’s website (www.turunchotels.com.tr) and made available to the relevant persons.
As a Company, we are the legal entity that determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data and is responsible for establishing and managing the data recording system. Upon your explicit consent to the processing of your personal data, or together with the information we provide where your explicit consent is not required, our Company will begin processing your personal data while ensuring data security. While processing your personal data, we may also have them processed by one or more data processors by authorizing them and ensuring the required level of security.
Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing or electronically through offices, branches, dealers, the call center, the website, social media channels, mobile applications and similar means, by automated or non-automated methods, and may vary depending on the service, product or commercial activity provided by our Company. Your personal data may be processed by being created and updated as long as you benefit from our Company’s products and services.
Your personal data may be processed pursuant to Articles 5 and 6 of the PDP Law and the relevant provisions of the Identity Notification Law and other legislation, for the purposes of providing the services our Company will carry out and improving their quality, performing activities envisaged and/or deemed exceptional by public authorities, carrying out the sales and marketing activities of the company/group companies, and complying with information storage, reporting and notification obligations.
In addition, your collected personal data may be processed for the purposes of carrying out the necessary work by our business units to enable you to benefit from the products and services offered by our Company; recommending those products and services to you by customizing them according to your tastes, usage habits and needs; ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company and of the persons in a business relationship with our Company; enabling communication regarding the products and services you have received/will receive; as well as for use in marketing activities and ensuring the execution of our Company’s human resources policies.
Your collected personal data may, for the purposes explained above, be transferred to our domestic Affiliates, Business Partners, Suppliers, Company Officials, Shareholders, the AY-TUR TURİZM SAN VE TİC. A.Ş. Group Companies, and to legally authorized public institutions and private persons, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the PDP Law.
Our Company stores the personal data it processes for the periods specified by the legislation; where no period is specified, personal data are stored for the period required by our Company’s practices and the customs of commercial life in connection with the services provided while processing that data, and thereafter only for the periods whose necessity is demonstrated in practice for the purpose of constituting evidence in possible legal disputes. After the expiry of the specified periods, such personal data are deleted, destroyed or anonymized on the first destruction date pursuant to Article 7 of the PDP Law.

For a person other than the data subject to make a request, a notarized special power of attorney issued on behalf of the applicant by the relevant data subject regarding the matter must be presented.
Pursuant to Article 14 of the PDP Law, in the event that the application is rejected, the response is found insufficient, or no response is given within the time limit, the data subject may file a complaint with the Board within thirty days of learning of our Company’s response and, in any case, within sixty days of the application date.
