1. Our Sustainability Message

As Turunç Premium Hotel, we embarked on our sustainability journey in 2023. Throughout this journey, we aim to create a shared awareness and raise a strong consciousness by sharing the progress we have achieved not only with our own management and employees, but also with our guests, our suppliers, and all of our business partners.

This report has been prepared in light of data covering the years 2024-2025 and also serves as an indication of our commitments for the future.

For us, sustainability is not limited solely to reducing environmental impacts. In addition to making improvements in the areas of energy, water, and waste management, the protection of cultural and social heritage, the economic and social support of local communities, and raising the awareness of our employees are also among our responsibilities.

In an era in which the effects of global warming and climate change are increasingly being felt, we are aware that sustainable tourism is an imperative approach. Accordingly, we regard it as our fundamental duty to manage risks properly, to develop long-term strategies, and to leave a more livable world to future generations by continuously improving our environmentally friendly practices.

This document presents the basic framework of the Sustainability Management System designed for Turunç Premium Hotel. The system is intended for the hotel management and staff and has been customized taking into account the size, location, and service approach of the facility. At the foundation of our management system lies a risk analysis approach; elements such as the environment, marine and terrestrial ecosystems, society, culture, the economy, quality, human rights, and health and safety are comprehensively assessed. Where necessary, new criteria are also added to the system. Following the risk analysis, crisis management procedures to be implemented in the event that potential risks materialize have been defined and detailed in supplementary documents.

The Turunç Premium Hotel Management System aims to continuously enhance sustainability performance. Within the scope of the system, policies are established and objectives are set in the areas of quality, environment, culture, the economy, human rights, and health and safety, and whether these objectives are achieved is monitored on a regular basis. In line with performance measurements and feedback, continuous improvement steps are planned. When objectives are achieved, new objectives are defined; where they are not achieved, the practices and objectives are reviewed and revised. This approach is part of a culture of continuous development and improvement.

The location of our hotel, set amid nature, makes the responsibility of ecosystem protection a priority. Following risk analyses, the necessary measures are meticulously implemented in order to avoid harming the environment. While placing the comfort and safety of our guests at the forefront, our system supports our commitment to being an environmentally conscious and responsible enterprise. Staff play an active role in implementing the sustainability objectives. This process is monitored and kept up to date through the SY.LS.03 Objectives Tracking List; performance indicators are used to measure the hotel's continuous improvement efforts.

Turunç Premium Hotel undertakes to fulfil the fundamental principles of the sustainable tourism approach and to enhance its performance by adopting the principle of continuous improvement. In line with environmental, social, economic and technological changes, legislative updates and stakeholder feedback, the management system is regularly reviewed and updated. This approach is one of the cornerstones of our objective to provide our guests with a high-quality and sustainable experience.

In summary, all these steps are carried out within the framework of the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach (Figure 1).
